Ms. Valek joined Energy Spectrum in 2009 and serves as the Manager of Financial Reporting. Her responsibilities include review of the firm’s financial and tax reporting and internal accounting. Additionally, she interfaces with portfolio companies to streamline the reporting process. Previously, Ms. Valek served as an Associate Accountant in the financial services practice of KPMG, LLP. She provided tax consulting services to clients within the real estate and private equity industries. Ms. Valek received her Bachelor of Business Administration and Master of Science degrees in Accounting from Texas A&M University and has been a licensed Certified Public Accountant since 2009.
